Starting over.

This video is currently cheering me up, and helping me remember why I put up with this occasional douchebaggery. Maybe it can do the same for you, if you're having the same first week back blues that I am.

i get this from a lot of Koreans I know in the Uk. Some are wonderful and patient and others have hysterics when i say just one word in Korean along with the line 'you know so many Korean words!' -_- This is why I like the adjusshi elders at my Korean church, they don't make a fuss when I try something and are very patient with me.
After all, I don't laugh when they say anything in English - can you imagine if I did!

I love how this video is such a pro-visit/live in Korea venture, yet it's not presented in the way the Ministry of Culture (whatever it's called). Man I miss that place.

Correction: I miss the natural scenery, the food, and speaking Korean. Everything else I'm fine without :)

This would be a great opportunity to start with the "I know you've heard a lot about [my home country], but did you know about [some obvious tourist destination or food]?" For every 'No sh!t Sherlock' they say, respond in kind with two. Then three. Then four...

Chris... I can't even allow thoughts like that to enter my mind, because my mouth is too smart as it is. There was a moment when she pointed to the banchan on the table and said, "These are various spiced vegetables," where I had to count to ten to keep myself from instantly replying with, "Yeah, I know! And this is a table!"
