Good luck to you. I'm glad that the attitudes of fellow middle school teachers who run when it's their turn to talk to the foreigner hasn't affected your determination to learn Korean. (For me it was the younger ones who were the most irritating, older teachers would try to converse with me in Korean just fine.). But really, good luck to you.
