It's just about time to start asking that August question:

Bangkok? Jakarta? Ho Chi Mihn City?

Someone help!

Time to bust out the old episodes of "No Reservations". Anthony Bourdain, patron saint of cool-as-fuck travelers, be my guide.

P.S -- Dear South Korea. If you want to be an international tourist destination, you better seriously get to work on having more representation on websites that are in languages other than Korean. Jesus fucking Christ....

I'd say Bangkok or Jakarta

Lonely Planet to the rescue?

See, I'm already kind of leaning toward Vietnam. I don't think it's the greatest time to be in Thailand.

I could go for Jakarta though. That's Bourdain's favorite.

Are you going to be coming with me, do you think? If so, we should start working on this....

Yeah. Plus the airlines tickets to Bangkok are always jacked up to high hell. Jakarta is Mr. Bourdain's favorite, huh?

How is Vietnam nowadays?

I haven't decided on August yet. I need to do that soon. After Tasha leaves in May I'll settle on something.

Holiday in Cambodia?

I still want to go to Australia or New Jeeland at some point.

Brace yourself, my dear.

Australia/New Jeeland seem like the most boring possible options to me at the moment....

Vietnam seems cool these days. Although I'm thinking Hanoi more than HCM City, really....

Indonesia is the place that Bourdain says makes him want to go bamboo.

Plus we could try durian.

Durian?

Yeah. I'll start looking into Indonesia or Vietnam. And I know, if I want to go to Australia I'm on my own. We'll see. I need to start researching what other countries around here have to offer in terms of a decent vacation in the summer that won't be too annoying.

I sort of feel like that I should visit China, but I don't really want to.
