I'm going to be leaving for the hospital shortly. My gramps took all his pills again, so you know... prayers, thoughts, energy, rain dances... whatever you got would be appreciated. Phone calls and texts are also welcome, given the inherent crappiness of being stuck at a hospital, but if I don't respond, it's a battery thing. Or. You know, whatever.

Looks like he's going to make it. It will be a while before he's conscious, but he's stable.
Oh, by the way I did get to scan your story before the madness started. It's good. The whole Heroin Gary sections are classic and so is the scene on the stoop, but I think the workshop... man. It's good but you have loads of material to mine for that. Maybe we could all have a Greatest Hits of Writer's Studio session via skype or something.
Well I'm glad he's stable and seemingly okay
we'll talk about the story later this week. Maybe I should download skype and give it a whirl. Even though we have phones and are in america.
